Swingin’ for a Cause: Golf, BBQ, and Live Music All to Support Lubbock Kids!

Get ready to tee up and turn it up, because two of Lubbock’s favorite things—golf and live music—are coming together for one incredible cause. The 20th Annual Golf for Kids’ Sake Kickoff Concert and Tournament is back, and it’s all to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lubbock, a group making a real difference in the lives of at-risk kids right here in our backyard!

Presented by SERVPRO of Southwest Lubbock, this dynamic duo of events kicks off on Friday, April 25th with a high-energy Kickoff Concert at SERVPRO’s headquarters at 7477 County Road 7000. Doors open at 6 p.m., and for just $50 a ticket (or $360 for a table), you’ll get live entertainment from The Spur 327 Band, a full-on BBQ dinner from Chopped & Sliced, plus a live auction and raffles. Good music, good food, and good people all coming together to support local kids? Count me in as your emcee once again this year!

But that’s not all!

The fun continues on Friday, May 2nd with the big show—the Golf for Kids’ Sake Tournament at Lakeridge Country Club. You can sign up as an individual golfer for $175, bring your whole foursome for $600, or go all-in with a Team + Hole Sponsor combo for $800. Breakfast will be served up by All American Eatery, and J&M BBQ is bringing lunch.

Best part? 100% of the proceeds go straight to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lubbock, helping to build strong mentorships that make lasting impacts on kids right here on the South Plains!
