The Pumpkin Trail at Clapp Park (46th Street & Avenue U) is one of the coolest traditions we have here in the Hub City! It's always fun to see all the families dressed up and smiling as they stroll through the trail.

🎃It all happened Thursday, October 17th through Sunday, October 20th, 2024🎃

I didn't actually count the pumpkins, but there were a LOT of them! Easily thousands all painted and carved for visitors to enjoy. There were some really cool animatronics and a bunch of spooky fun for everyone.

Of course there was the lighted trail, glowing with hundreds of creatively carved jack-o-lanterns, winding through the beautiful Lubbock Memorial Arboretum. This free event was brought to you by our friends at Reliant Energy and Lubbock Parks and Rec, and trust me, it’s one you don’t want to miss next year!

Special thanks to all of the great sponsors, business organizations and civic groups who participated and helped make the displays so unique and fun!

Did you and your family hit the trail this year? What was your favorite display? Feel free to shoot me some pictures of your visit and I'll add them to this article!
