Governor Rick Perry says he is too busy concentrating on the Legislature to think about the presidential buzz around him this week.  Perry spoke to reporters Thursday after a speech on turning Austin into a high-tech center.

He said all of his focus was on getting a budget passed by the May 30 deadline.  On Wednesday Rush Limbaugh devoted 20 minutes to extolling Perry's virtues as a Republican presidential candidate.  The Washington Times also wrote about Perry's potential as a candidate this week.  But Perry has repeatedly denied any plans to run for the presidency.
