Help Us Find This A-Hole Who Stole From a Hurricane Harvey Donation Jar [VIDEO]
There is nothing more despicable than a thief. Except a thief that steals from charity!
This video is from surveillance video captured by MamaRita's Border Cafe and Blue Luna Lounge in Lubbock, Texas.
An employee, Alyssa Cabaniss, caught a patron on security video apparently stealing $10 from a donation jar for Hurricane Harvey relief. They think his name is Mark. Share this everywhere and let's find this piece of crap.
Cabaniss, who helped put the donation effort together at the restaurant, told KFMX what she knew about the incident.
"I just knew there had been a $10 bill in the jar because my dad gave me money to buy supplies for my donation box," Cabaniss explained. "He gave me three $10 bills. I put one in the jar to get it started & used the other $20 to buy supplies. So when I saw it empty, I knew someone would be on camera."
Cabaniss voiced her frustration about what happened.
"It was just so disgusting to me for that man to stoop that low," said Cabaniss. "There are people that lost their lives, everything they own & families are hurting. It's the least I can do to help. Then this jerk takes the money."
If you'd like to help victims of Hurricane Harvey, one of the best ways to do so is by texting 'Harvey' to 90999. That will make a $10 donation to the American Red Cross.
