Sunday afternoon at a Q&A at the Texas Tech indoor training facility, Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury was asked if duel-threat quarterback Jett Duffey would be making a full-time switch to the wide receiver position. Duffey has reportedly spent time playing the position for the scout team.

"He is a quarterback, we just didn't have a lot of bodies on scout team, and he's athletic enough to run around and help us at wide out, but he is 100 percent a quarterback," Kingsbury said.

Sounds like Kingsbury is really set on having Duffey come in next season and compete for the starting quarterback position. Duffey is 6'1" and 200 pounds, which is not a bad size for a wide receiver. However, Kingsbury obviously sees more value in him as quarterback.

Here's something Red Raider fans may be able to look forward to if Duffey is tapped as the starter for next season.
