3 Texas Cities Make Top 10 List for Most Unique Airbnbs
We Texans love our distinctive Airbnbs, so much so that Texas just ranked number one for having the most unique Airbnb rentals in the Lone Star State, according to the Shane Co and the Loupe. I think we've all seen those quirky Airbnbs, the ones that look like teepees, treehouses, dollhouses, out of storybooks like the Harry Potter house, or TV's Munster Mansion.
Texas not only ranked in the top 10 but had three Texas towns in the top 10 list for having the most unique Airbnbs. We must also consider that "glamping" falls into the "unique Airbnb" category.
What exactly is glamping? It's a form of camping that involves accommodations that are more glamourous (glamorous + camping = glamping) than those found in traditional camping. All that settled, let's take a look at what cities made the top of the list of unique Airbnbs in the Lone Star State.
The number one city is our state capital Austin, with over 306 unique Airbnb stays. The second city in Texas to rank with the most unique Airbnbs is New Braunfels, tying with Tampa, Florida at 140 unique Airbnbs each. Finally, with a total of 118 unique Airbnbs, the third Texas city is Fredericksburg.
So if you're looking for a fun place to stay or spend your honeymoon or anniversary, you don't have to leave the Lone Star State. In Texas, you can find that specific Airbnb that fits your likes and dreams.
