Blue October Coming to the Buddy Holly Hall This December
Alternative rock is alive and well in the state of Texas and Blue October is proving that with their latest tour across the U.S.
Blue October started in 1995 and have since released eleven studio albums, had several Top 40 singles on the alternative rock chart, and are best known for their platinum singles “Hate Me’ and “Into the Ocean”, both released on their 2006 platinum album “Foiled”.
Originally from Houston, Blue October is returning to their Texas roots during their 50+ show tour and shows in eight different Texas cities, including Lubbock. One of their last shows of the year will be at the Buddy Holly Hall on December 13, 2023.

Blue October’s current lineup consists of three original members from 1995, Justin Furten (lead vocals & rhythm guitar), Ryan Delahoussaye (violin, mandolin, mandocello, keyboard, guitar & backing vocals), and Jeremy Furstenfeld (drums, percussion & backing vocals). This tour also includes bass guitarist, Matt Noveskey (1998-2002 & 2004-present), and lead guitarist Steve Schiltz (studio: 2010-present & live: 2023-present).
Their most recent album is Spinning the Truth Around with their single where Did you Go? I’m Less of a Mess These Days reaching the top 20 on the alternative rock chart.
