Heather Smith's 5-foot iguana went missing in Lubbock near 92nd and Albany between Slide and Chicago. He lives in her backyard during the warm summer months and she believes he might be roaming around looking for a mate. This is the second time he's escaped the backyard this week, and she needs your help to find him!

Heather told us that she adopted him about 5 years ago from an ad on Craigslist. She drove 6 hours to pick him up. He doesn't come from a local pet store, and he is very special to her. She said she has always had a thing for iguanas, and when her ex told her not to rescue him, she did it anyway. He's her baby and she is quite distraught without him. He is named "Lizardon" after the Pokemon character.

Check out her Facebook post below:

Here are a few more images of Lizardon that show just how massive he is:

If you have any information regarding this big lost iguana, please email me at Chrissy.Covington@townsquaremedia.com, or contact Heather through Facebook messenger!

If you live in the area he's in, be sure to watch out for him, and please don't harm him if you come across him. He just needs a little help getting back home to the family that loves him and he doesn't mean to frighten you! He's just a big boy!
