A woman was left stranded on an island after missing her cruise ship and took to TikTok to complain about the incident. She really thought an entire boat would wait around for her, and she was definitely wrong.

Check out her original video below and then scroll down to her second video for her fantastic excuse as to why she missed the boat.

Classic.

Of course, people in the comments really got a kick out of the entire scenario and voiced their opinions pretty loudly. Here are a few of my favorites:

"The Uber will leave if you're late, but you thought a cruise ship would accommodate?"

"You can be late for everything; but not a cruise ship. So long cast away...."

"Cruise ships do not leave people who get back ON TIME"

"In the words of Kevin Hart, "You gone learn today"

So, why did she miss the boat? I don't know about you guys, but I'd be hyper-aware of when my cruise ship was scheduled to leave. I'm the kind of person that gets to the airport 5 hours early because I'm so afraid of my plane leaving without me.

She explained in a follow-up video that she had a little too much fun on the island and basically forgot all about the cruise ship...

...and that my friends, is how you get left on an island...

Luckily, she was able to make it to the next port to get back on the boat.
