If you're like me, you know the Texas beer laws. In case you don't, you can buy beer from 7AM to midnight Monday through Friday. 7AM to 1AM on Saturdays and 10AM to midnight on Sundays. Well one guy decided to visit a Stripes in Laredo, Texas to buy beer at 1:40 in the morning today and it did not go well.

I have personally never seen this before, but at the Stripes in Laredo, Texas. Once they get past the time where they can legally sell you beer. The coolers are actually locked and you can't even open them. Well a man by the name of Velasquez Dominguez walked in at 1:40 am to buy beer (Almost two hours past when they can legally sell beer). He allegedly became enraged when the beer cooler was locked and tried to assault the worker. Then this happened...

Driver Crashes Through Store Over Locked Beer Cooler

Mr. Dominguez allegedly got into his truck and plowed through the store causing thousands of dollars in damages. Thankfully no one was killed in the incident, but judging from the photos. Some of the passengers in the vehicle suffered minor injuries. Apparently police had to break the windows of the truck to get the suspects out of the vehicle.

Official Charges So Far

Velasquez Dominguez was charged with assault and criminal mischief. The investigation is ongoing and more charges could be brought up later. So remember everyone, don't throw a fit when you can't get beet at 2AM in Texas.
