Should Parents Stop Giving Easter Baskets To Teens And College Students?
Easter is just around the corner and that means lots of goodies such as cascarones, candy, and of course Easter baskets for the kiddos. This means that if you have kids they are more than likely expecting an Easter basket but there may be some debate on when you should stop.
Big Kids
Within the last few years there has been a trend of children asking their parents for Easter baskets but those children might be a little too big. These kids are usually teens and even college students who expect to get Easter baskets filled with age appropriate things. That does include items like money, jewelry, and sometimes expensive clothing but when should parents stop getting their children Easter baskets?
Just a Number?
So personally I think Easter baskets are a great thing for kids of all ages, as long as they are under 18 and the gifts are not too extravagant. This isn't Christmas. There are some great things though to give to your kids/teens though that they might need to get Spring ready like Tiktoker busytexasmomofthree showcases. She shows that you can get your teens something they will love because teens are hard to shop for and does a beautiful job with her baskets. So I am all for Easter baskets for your teens but also elderly people deserve Easter baskets as well with some nice Spring items.
At what age did you stop giving your kids Easter baskets? Are you still giving your adult children Easter baskets? Let us know!
