Lubbock Last-Minute Plans: Midnight Cravings, Plant Workshops, & More
The second weekend of March is upon us, and it is time to plan what you want to do with your friends and family in Lubbock.
Midnight Cravings
This iconic event has officially returned to give you all the midnight snacks you could want. There will be 20 different food trucks in the parking lot at 6524 Slide Rd, this Friday, March 8th, from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
There will also be beer and wine sales on location this time around. So, you can grab a drink and enjoy any type of food you want from burgers, Asian, pizza, Mexican, desserts, and more. There will also be live music with outdoor seating for you to sit, eat, and enjoy.
Workshops
There are a few great workshops happening this weekend at two different locations. The first is Board & Brush hosting a DIY Porch Planter Workshop on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
The Dutch House of Plants is also hosting two different workshops this weekend. They have a Kid’s Fairy Garden Workshop on Saturday at 11:00 and a Kokedama (japanese bonsai) workshop on Sunday at 2:00.
Karaoke & Dancing
There is also an event happening at Broken Spur Event Center in Levelland that will feature a DJ, karaoke, dancing, food, and drinks. It is on Saturday, March 9th, from 7:00 to 11:30 p.m. The entrance fee also covers the cost of food, water, and soda. The bar is at an additional cost and you are not permitted to bring your own alcohol.
