Thank You For Shopping: A Farewell To Its Physical Store In Lubbock
After 23 years of experience in brick-and-mortar retail, the owner of a beloved Lubbock boutique has made the major decision to close their store’s doors.
Lubbock is home to a variety of boutiques, but one really stood out among the rest. Known for their bold style, size inclusivity, and fun atmosphere, Thank You For Shopping has been a great addition to Lubbock for many years.
Unfortunately, after a decline of in-person shopping for the boutique, they have decided to close their doors for good.
While it is very sad to see them go, and they will be missed here in the Hub City, this store-front closure doesn’t mean they are gone for good.
In fact, they are going to focus their efforts completely on their online store which has gained great success due to their strong social media presence and following. So, Thank You For Shopping will still be around, simply as an exclusive online retailer.
There is not a set date on when the brick-and-mortar will be closing, but that information is sure to be provided on their social media once it is available. The store’s closure also means that they will be hosting some sales soon. The dates for that have also yet to be announced.
I will say I am very sad to see them close their storefront. As a plus-sized woman, it was wonderful to have a place I knew I could go and try clothes on that would actually fit. However, I am excited for their new ventures, and I am happy they can keep doing what they love online.
