Lubbock Famous BBQ Joint Now Open At New Location

Wiley’s BBQ has been locally owned and operated since 1988. The family has put in a lot of work and made it a great place for the Lubbock community.

Their location on Parkway Drive has always been their home until now. The owners posted to Facebook back in July saying they are closing their doors on June 8th, 2023 and will no longer serve the community from that location.

 "We will always remember great food, conversations, and customers. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your reunions, parties, weddings, graduations, Home goings, and other family events! We will cherish these memories as we prepare to create new ones soon," said Tina R. Wiley-Williams.

So from now on the location on 1805 Parkway Dr, Lubbock, TX 79403 is no more. They will soon be opened at their new location at 1924 Ave A, Lubbock, TX 79404. This is the old Kennards building at 19th Street and Avenue A.

Starting today, Wednesday, Sep. 6th they are now open at this new location.

They posted to Facebook saying, "This was a difficult transition and a lot of doubt that we could do it but the day has finally come! Thank you for calls, pulling up to see if we were open, cravings for his food and fulfilling my dad’s purpose. He is driven to feed his customers and provide this service for the community! Please come out and support!"
