New Lubbock Seafood Bar Adds The Perfect Touch To Your Event
Lubbock is stepping up its game when it comes to events and weddings and it is a seafood lovers' dream.
Aphrodite Oysters started back in 2013 in Austin, TX. Now it has expanded and taken off in other cities.
Taylor Maxey's sister had had Aphrodite Oysters at a couple of different events and knew it had to come to Lubbock. Maxey took the leap and opened up in Lubbock a couple of months ago.
"We are really excited to spread this business with Lubbock," said Maxey.
Since then she has already booked some events and weddings. People love how fresh the seafood is. From when it gets out of the water to your event it is about three to four days, yes even to Lubbock. That is fresh!
They offer a wide range of seafood and can serve any party size, big or small. They have packages that go as low as coming to your house just to give you fresh seafood, a small party to even 500 people or more. Maxey event wants to be apart of Texas Tech tailgates.
You can get oysters, shrimp, ceviche, crab, salmon, tuna, crawfish, filet mignon, tarts, and so much more. They can change and accommodate whatever you want.
They even do the Mobile Oyster Shuckers. That means they will freshly shuck the oysters as they walk around for your guests. They wear these cute ‘gunslinger’ belts and shuck them out of their hands and dress your oyster to perfection is such a fun experience.
They set everything up and take everything down for you. I had them out at one of my events and everyone loved it. It was a unique way to spice up any occasion. I can't wait to do it again.
