Another week and another band will be showcasing their talents at the Buddy Holly Center Summer Showcase. This week a very talented son of Texas, Clint Sherman, whose name might sound familiar to many of you who are fans of television singing shows will be performing in the Hub City.

Clint Sherman was previously on the hit NBC show The Voice during their 21st season where he earned his spot on Blake Shelton's team. Sherman also recently joined the band, and The Voice winners, Girl named Tom, Restless Road, and Kat & Alex on tour after making his Nashville debut at the Bluebird Cafe.

As per usual I cannot write about Clint Sherman without listening to his music and I started with Whispering Wind and made my way to his number one hit on Spotify, Happy to Drive. Clint Sherman's overall sound took me to a Friday night in Texas during the month of July with hanging lights and the smell of a great cookout. His sound is crisp and clear like golden hour on the Fourth of July when the sky is clear, the breeze grazes on the grass and the world seems at peace before the fire works show.

Clint Sherman will play from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the Buddy Holly Summer Showcase, located in the Meadows Courtyard at the Buddy Holly Center. Chairs, picnic blankets, pets, outside food and beverages are not allowed but Roll'n Bros food truck will be serving food. Admission is free to the public and there will be plenty of activities for kids. More information about Clint Sherman can be found on his Facebook, Instagram, and personal website along with his music on Spotify and Apple Music.
