Warm Weekend Ahead for Lubbock
The good news is the forecast shows a warm weekend ahead. Saturday will be warm with high temperatures in the mid to upper 90's. The wind will pick back up on Sunday with high's in the mid 70's to 80's depending on the timing of a big cold front.
Not all of Texas will see a dramatic drop in temperatures, but forecasts show a March freeze ahead for those in the Panhandle and South Plains. Low temperatures Sunday into Monday will drop into the teens and 20's depending on where you are. North of Lubbock we are expecting to see temperatures in the teens while Lubbock could see a morning low on Monday of around 21.
