New Restaurant Under Construction at 19th and Loop 289 In Lubbock

If you have been driving by 19th and west Loop 289 in Lubbock you've been seeing a lot of construction lately. Circle K has a new location right off the loop and for weeks now a building next to Circle K and pretty much in front of Academy has been going up. But there hasn't been a sign. Now the sign is up and we know what is being built at 19th and Loop 289.

Drumroll please...

It's a new Panda Express location. This will be the fourth Panda Express location in Lubbock. Other locations are at 114th and Quaker, 82nd and Milwaukee, and 3rd and University.

The new Panda Express location is expected to open sometime in November and they just recently held a hiring event. You can still apply for a job at pandacareers.com. According to KAMC, starting pay for Panda Express is $15 an hour and store managers can make up to $100,000.

Panda Express is home to what they call "America Chinese Cuisine" and have locations throughout the United States.

Expect to see more construction in that area as pad sites are sold and the population continues to increase in West Lubbock.
