Exciting Double Header Roller Derby Showdown In West Texas

Get ready Lubbock for a very exhilarating night of intense skating while also helping out for a good cause. West Texas Roller Derby will be hosting their Double Header Extravaganza where two teams will do what they do best and go head-to-head on skates. The West Texas Roller Derby and Albuquerque Roller Derby will kick off the event as they show off amazing speed and adrenaline-pumping maneuvers.

During their intermission fans will be able to get a look at some of the skaters that have just graduated from the new skater program and watch them take on the track for the first time. Not only will you get a great show and watch some new talent but also this event is for a good cause. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Morris Safe House: Saving Dogs ONE at a Time which is a non-profit no kill facility for dogs that serves the South Plains.

This event will be on Saturday, March 30, at Premier Sportsplex where doors will open at 5 p.m. and the first whistle will blow at 5:30 p.m.. Tickets for the West Texas Roller Derby Double Header Extravaganza are $20 at the door or if purchased online are just $15 for anyone over the age of 10.
