Texas Based Flight Delayed After Woman Has Meltdown Claiming Imaginary Passenger
Travelers were warned going into the Independence Day weekend that there would be travel problems, but I'm pretty sure no one expected their flight to be delayed because of a passenger meltdown and possibly imaginary people.
According to the Houston Chronicle, an American Airlines flight leaving DFW Airport caused hours of delays after a female passenger became distraught and had a meltdown on the plane.
Of course passengers were recording the incident which made its way to social media. It is 2023, and if you are going to lose it on a plane, just expect to see yourself going viral on social media within hours.
In the video, a woman is demanding to be let off the plane while claiming that someone in the back of the plane wasn't real according to the Chronicle.
"I'm telling you, I'm getting the f--k off and the reason why I'm getting the f--k off," the woman shouted in front of dozens of passengers as she walked down the aisle toward the front of the plane. "And everyone can either believe it or they can not believe it. I don't give two f--ks. But I am telling you right now, that motherf--ker back there is not real," she added as she pointed to the rear of the plane.
The woman hasn't been identified yet and it's not clear if she was arrested or not once she was escorted off the plane.
The plane was bound for Orlando and was apparently on its way to takeoff but had to return to the gate following the woman's outburst. Here is reportedly the video from the plane. Warning, it does contain cussing and may not be safe for work or all ears.
