Texas Tech Football Releases 2024 Schedule, Features 7 Home Games

Get ready for an exciting 2024 Red Raider Football season. While Jones AT&T Stadium may not have any fans in the stands today, that all will change in late August. Red Raider fans will get to see 7 games at home this season.

2024 will be the first Big 12 season without Oklahoma or the University of Texas as they head off to the SEC. For Texas Tech, they have a chance to start off the season very strong as 4 of the first 5 games are at home. That includes back to back home games to start Big 12 play. The last time Texas Tech started Big 12 play with back to back home games was in 2003.

Texas Tech Football will open the season on August 31 against Abilene Christian which is when the new south end zone facility will open. Texas Tech will then travel to play at Washington State on September 7. The Red Raiders then return home to host North Texas, Arizona State, and Cincinnati. On October 5th, Texas Tech will travel to Arizona before having their first off week. Texas Tech will then host Baylor before traveling to TCU and Iowa State. Coach Prime and Colorado travel to Lubbock on November 9th. Texas Tech will have it's second off week. That off week could be pivotal before the Red Raiders finish the regular season traveling to Stillwater to face Oklahoma State and then ending the regular season at home hosting West Virginia. Game times will be released at a later date.
