Who will win the White House in 2024? It's a question that will be answered tonight, or shortly after, but there have been lots of predictions based off polls, betting, and even cup sales. And for one Texas bar, they have correctly predicted the winner of the White House in four Presidential elections, and they got pretty close in another.

The Flying Saucer Draught Emporium is a bar that originally opened in Fort Worth but has 12 locations in 4 states now. According to the Dallas Morning News, since 2004 the bar has been able to correctly predict who will win the Presidential Election. How so? Beer glasses.

The Flying Saucer sells custom candidate beer glasses, priced at $22 this year, and since 2004, whichever candidate's glass sells more, they have also won the White House. The only exception? 2020, when Trump glasses out sold Biden glasses, but Biden was sworn in as President.

Which Candidate Is Winning The Beer Glass Battle This Year?

So who is in the lead this year? According to the Dallas Morning News, it depends on how you look at it. Trump leads Harris, but add in Biden to Kamala's total and the Democrats pull ahead.

As of Nov. 3, Flying Saucer bars have sold:

  • 3,824 Trump glasses
  • 2,155 for Harris — that’s glasses and koozie sales combined
  • 1,691 Biden glasses

Pit Harris’ sales against Trump’s sales, and Trump takes an easy lead.

Add Harris and Biden merch together and the race gets much closer. The Democrats would win with 3,846, just 22 more cups sold than Trump.

And there’s still one more day to go.

Maybe we will know the results of the Flying Saucer Election before we know the results of the national election. And could they be right again?

In any case, the glasses make for a great collectors item and something to talk about.
