It's time to discover the Texas High Plains Wine Trail.

When it comes to Texas wine, one may or may not know that the Lubbock area is key to the industry in Texas. If you have ever traveled to the Texas Hill Country, and in particular, Fredericksburg, you have probably heard of the Texas Wine Trail. I've been on the wine trail several times and it's always an enjoyable experience. One would think that with all the wineries in the Hill Country that they get their grapes from there, but that isn't always the case. In fact, the Texas High Plains is the real wine country of Texas.

According to Visit Lubbock, more than 85% of Texas wine grapes are grown and produced in the Lubbock and High Plains region. And now, there is a new way to experience Texas Wine Country. And that is with the all new Texas High Plains Wine Trail that has been launched by Visit Lubbock.
