ALERT: Texas, Throw Away These Recalled Poisoned Pills Now
A new recall has been issued not only in the state of Texas, but nationwide for certain type of pills. Here's what you need to know about the retraction.
Pill Recall In The State Of Texas
As reported by the FDA, G.A. Mart dba H&Natural is rescinding two of their products:
- Tejo Root, Raiz de Tejocte, H&Natural, Healthy and Natural, Dietary Supplement, 10g pills, is packaged in a box or bottle, with UPC (196852946921)
- Brazil Seed Pure Natural Semilla de Brasil, H& Natural, Healthy and Natural, 0.167g seeds, packaged in a box or bottle, with UPC (195893047529) (196852820641) (195893698721) (195893236893)(196852134618) (195893336975)
Lots that are being called back have the date of expiration as 3/24 and 5/24The reason for the recall is that the pills themselves contain yellow oleander. Yellow oleander, which is harmful to humans. But how does yellow oleander affect the human body?
Yellow Oleander And Its Effects On A Person
The FDA reports that an individual could suffer from multiple symptoms if yellow oleander is in their body:
- vomiting
- nausea
- abdominal pain
- diarrhea
- cardiac changes
- abdominal pain
- dysrhythmia
Some of these effects may be severe to some individuals, and may even cause death. At the time or writing, H&NATURAL TejoRoot has one report of gastrointestinal illness caused by the pill, and H&NATURAL Brazil Seed hasn't received any reports of illness.
