Justin Verlander To Start 90th MLB All-Star Game
When the National League All-Stars take the field Tuesday for the 90th All-Star game they will be facing one of the American League's best in Justin Verlander.
On Monday it was announced that Verlander would be the starting pitcher for the American League, while Dodgers pitcher, Hyun-Jin Ryu would start opposite of him.
As for the other Houston Astros players, George Springer will hit leadoff and play RF for the AL, Alex Bregman will look for another All-Star game MVP as he will hit 6th and play 3B, and Michael Brantley will hit 8th in the lineup and will play LF.
The 2019 MLB All-Star Game is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. tonight with the broadcast being provided by FOX Sports.
