Kliff Kingsbury Donates His Personal Suits to Help Local Kids for Proms and Job Interviews
Coach Kliff Kingsbury has done a lot more for our community than just lead the Red Raider football team. And much of it goes unnoticed. So I'm saying a public thank you to Kilff Kingsbury specifically for donating his own suits to local kids.
Kingsbury is a big part of Walk In Their Shoes, the charity that provides new shoes, clothes and sports gear to foster kids at the Lubbock Children's Home and Texas Boys Ranch. And he has gone way over the top by donating his own personal suits from his closet to these kids so they will have something nice to wear for special school events like prom, or job interviews in the future.
He's literally giving the shirt off his back to these kids. It doesn't get any more generous than a gesture like this. Way to go, coach! You have my eternal respect, sir.
And in case you haven't already watched it, he really knows how to deliver good news to his players, too. Watch as he has New England Patriots Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski tell Justus Parker that he's earned his way into a scholarship.
