A Lubbock Nonprofit That Helps Women Going Through Chemo Needs Our Help
I had a chance to visit with Alexis Arnold, co-founder and executive director of the Inside Out Foundation, earlier this week.
This unique, non-profit organization located in the heart of Lubbock does some pretty AWESOME stuff for the women of our community. They provide much-needed goods and services for women who are going through chemo, remission, or any other traumatic event, free of charge.
Some of the things the Inside Out Foundation provides are wigs and eyelash/eyebrow kits for women who have lost their hair, and bras for women who have undergone a mastectomy. They also provide make up, scar cream, and skin care products for burn victims and domestic violence survivors. Wow!
The Inside Out Foundation now needs our help. They have an endowment fund that's being collected with a dollar-for-dollar match by the Community Foundation of West Texas. That means if you give $10 it becomes $20, if you give $50 it become $100, and so on. More support means more resources, free of charge, for the women who need it.
If you cannot give monetarily, then please share this on your Facebook page and get the word out. Let's help this incredible organization keep doing what their doing for the community of Lubbock. It’s a good thing…a very good thing.
The deadline for the matching endowment fund is Monday, April 30th. For more information on how you can help, visit the Inside Out Foundation website.
