MANIA: The ABBA Tribute is coming to the Helen DeVitt Jones Theater, delivering a high-energy, two-hour recreation of one of ABBA’s most memorable concerts. The show takes fans back to ABBA’s final concert performance, celebrating the music and spectacle of the Swedish supergroup that defined an era.

Recreating an Iconic ABBA Experience

This isn’t just a tribute band playing covers. MANIA: The ABBA Tribute goes all in, recreating the look, sound, and feel of ABBA with authentic costumes, staging, lighting, and effects. From the sparkling outfits to the carefully choreographed performances, every detail is designed to transport the audience straight back to the height of disco.

ABBA dominated radio in the 1970s, and their music has never gone out of style. While many tribute acts have popped up over the years, MANIA has been standing out since 1999, building a reputation as one of the most faithful and polished ABBA tributes touring today.

A Performer’s Passion Brings the Show to Life

Veteran performer Alison Ward, who portrays Agnetha Fältskog, has been part of MANIA for more than 14 years. A Liverpool native, Ward says the joy of the show never wears off.

“We basically recreate one of ABBA’s biggest concerts,” Ward said. “We’re in very sparkly costumes, using Swedish accents, and taking people back to that time.”

For Ward, ABBA’s music is deeply personal. She grew up listening to “Dancing Queen” and later fell in love with the “Mamma Mia” musical. Now, she gets to bring that music to life on stage every night.
