Lubbock Area United Way to Host Campaign Kickoff Luncheon
United Way is a global organization that works to build stronger, more equitable communities by improving people's lives through their focus on education, financial stability, and health. United Way's work is driven by research and results, and they partner with volunteers, advocates, and donors to achieve their goals.
Their big campaign kicks off on the 27th of this month.

United Way to Host Annual Campaign Kickoff
LUBBOCK, TX – Lubbock Area United Way will hold its 2024 Annual Campaign Kickoff Luncheon at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center on Tuesday, August 27th from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. This event marks the start of United Way’s campaign that runs from August 27th to December 3rd.
The event will feature a keynote from leadership and development coach, Jody Holland. Jody will discuss the positive impact small actions taken today can have on the future, for individuals and communities.
In addition to the keynote, Campaign Chair Matt Ernst will premiere the 2024 Campaign Video and announce this year’s campaign goal. United Way will also share early results from nine companies that ran workplace campaigns during the summer months to help jumpstart the campaign.
