This Thursday, the Lubbock Auto Auction will be donating proceeds from this week auction to six different local entities.

Following the auction, cash donations will be made to: Northwest Little League (Lubbock), Slaton 'Snack Pack' Program, Community Health Center of Lubbock, UMC Cancer Center, the Lubbock Children's Home and Lubbock ISD's Ervin Elementary.

This week's auction will be taking place Thursday, August 26 at 9:15am, at the Lubbock Auto Auction 1122 East 35th Street.  Special guest, Lubbock County Commissioner Jason Corley will be in attendance for Thursday's fundraiser.

The Lubbock Auto Auction is the second-oldest automobile auction in the U.S. Each Thursday, "rain or shine", vehicles are auctioned off to a number of bidders.

To sell a vehicle through Lubbock Auto Auction you do NOT need to be a licensed/registered dealer. To sell a vehicle, you simply pay a small run-fee to have the vehicle appear in an auction sale and then pay a small sellers-fee when the vehicle sells. To purchase vehicles at Lubbock Auto Auction you must be a licensed auto dealer and complete the simple registration process (as detailed below) to become an authorized buyer at Lubbock Auto Auction.

Lubbock Auto Auction is a member of the Auction Access network in order to vet and verify dealers to do business with our auction. Dealers must be a member in good-standing with Auction Access as well as complete a simple application form specifically for Lubbock Auto Auction. Once a dealer is registered to do business with us, they may attend all auctions and bid to purchase vehicles. All dealers also have access to participate in auctions online. Dealers receive access to our secure online simulcast of all live auctions. Dealers may bid and purchase vehicles online, in real-time, using a web browser without having to be present in-person at the auction.
