Lubbock Could See Our First Freeze Tonight
Monday morning (Nov. 10), I received an advisory message from Lubbock County Emergency Management warning of an overnight freeze. Specifically, it is in effect from midnight to 9 a.m. tomorrow, November 11.
The warning is for the far southern Texas Panhandle, northern and central portions of the South Plains and the northeast rolling plains.
Temperatures are expected to fall into the 20s and lower 30s early Tuesday morning. Wind chills will drop temps into the teens!
Make sure to bring in your sensitive plants and cover any exposed water pipes at your home.
