Lubbock Is In The Top 15 Cities To Start A Business
CNBC released the results of a small business survey they conducted. And it lists the top 15 cities in America to start a business. Lubbock made the list!
Along with much larger cities like Oklahoma City, Salt Lake City, and Charlotte, North Carolina, Lubbock cracked the top 15 landing at #13. We beat out Laredo, Texas, and Port St. Lucie, Florida.
According to the CNBC website: "The financial website WalletHub wanted to know, so it looked at the relative start-up opportunities that exist in the 150 most populated U.S. cities. It compared them across 18 key metrics, ranging from five-year business survival rate to office-space affordability."
The only other Texas cities that made the list are Laredo, Amarillo, and Austin. So quit your current job that's closer to indentured servitude than it is to a career, and be your own boss! I am. And hopefully, now that I know how great a business climate Lubbock is, I'll be a successful millionaire soon! But I doubt it.
