Lubbock Man Confesses to Possessing Child Pornography

A Lubbock man accepted a plea deal on Friday and admitted to possessing child pornography.

KAMC News reports that 21-year-old Nigel Michael Hargrove had moved in with family members in November of 2018, and only 2 days later 2 young boys told their father that Hargrove took pictures of them naked. After accessing Hargrove's hard drive on his computer, the father discovered images of child pornography.

One of the boys who was photographed also claimed that Hargrove sexually abused him.

Hargrove was arrested in December of 2018 and has been in the Lubbock County Detention Center ever since.

If a judge approves the plea deal, Hargrove will be sentenced to no more than 20 years in federal prison.
