Lubbock Grand Jury Indicts Local Man for Sexual Assault of a Child

A Lubbock man has been indicted on multiple counts of sexual assault of a child.

According to a police report from August 2019, a girl under the age of 14 alleged that 21-year-old Dylan Ryan Rodriquez (pictured above) sexually assaulted her multiple times while she was being babysat over a time-span of two months.

Rodriquez was apparently the boyfriend of the woman who was babysitting, and allegedly assaulted the young girl while the babysitter was out of the room. He was arrested on January 3rd, 2020, and remains in custody on a $50,000 bond.

Rodriquez denied the allegations, but was indicted on Tuesday, January 28th.
