Lubbock Man Passes Away After Major Accident on I-27

A Lubbock man who was involved in a major two-vehicle crash back on Thursday, June 4th has passed away.

The crash initially happened at around 7:20 p.m., according to authorities.

Thirty-one-year-old Euesbio Perez was driving a Honda Civic southbound on I-27 near 34th Street when he lost control and made contact with another vehicle. His vehicle then rolled down the embankment.

Perez was transported to University Medical Center with critical injuries and died on Tuesday, June 9th.
