Lubbock Police Arrest Man for Stealing Mail and Packages from Porches
The Lubbock Police Department has apprehended a suspect they refer to as a "porch pirate" who is suspected of stealing letters, packages and other mail left on the front porches of 17 different victims' homes.
On November 30th, an undercover police officer was conducting surveillance when the officer caught 25-year-old Christopher Bledsoe in the act of theft. Bledsoe allegedly stole multiple packages from numerous homes.
According to LPD, Bledsoe was arrested and charged with Theft, Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information, and Possession of a controlled substance. As of the writing of this article, Bledsoe has bonded out of the Lubbock County Jail.
