Lubbock Police Search for two men Connected to Three Robberies
Lubbock Police are currently asking for the publics help searching for a man possibly connected to three Aggravated Robberies. The Lubbock Police Department took to social media on Thursday, January 12, to ask the public for help in identifying two suspects in three robberies.
The Lubbock Police Department was dispatched on January 9 on two separate incidents. The first incident occurred at 7:34 a.m. in the 2800 block of Slide Road and the second at 9:46 p.m. to the 1600 block of 82nd Street. The most recent incident occurred on January 11 in the 4000 block of Chicago Avenue at 10:02 p.m..
The incidents were caught on store surveillance with one of the suspects being clearly caught on camera wearing a face mask. That suspect then proceeded to hold a Dollar General employee at gunpoint with an altered bolt action .410 gauge shot gun. The suspect clearly caught on surveillance can be seen fleeing the scene, after demanding money from the register, in a 2010-2013 Lexus GX 460.
If caught and convicted on those Aggravated Robbery charges the suspects could face a sentencing of 5 to 99 years in prison. The Lubbock Police Department is urging anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of these suspects to call Crime Line at 806-741-1000.
