I made a post yesterday about how I want Trader Joe’s to come to Lubbock, and many people said they would also like them to come here.

Along with the number of readers in agreeance with bringing in a Trader Joe's, there were many that also expressed their desire for Lubbock to get a Buc-ee's.

Even when I suggested bringing a Trader Joe’s here to my partner who grew up in Dallas, his first response was “we need a Buc-ee’s here too.”

Something about that beaver in a baseball cap has all of Texas wrapped around its little finger - or paw (beavers don't have fingers, do they?).

Since moving to Texas a few years ago, I have heard nothing but good things about Buc-ee's, and although I have never been to one myself, I would absolutely like to see one of these mega convenience stores join the Hub City.

It seems like one of those places you can go to when you’re bored on a Friday, just to wander around and pick up random knick-knacks, snacks, and a soda before heading home to stay in for the night.

I think it's a bit unfair that the closest Buc-ee's to Lubbock is all the way in Fort Worth. How come there are plenty of them along the eastern side of Texas, and not a single one on the Western side? We deserve a Buc-ee's too.

I remember how hyped everyone was to have H-E-B and Braum’s open their first locations here. Traffic at the Braum’s on 82nd and Milwaukee was so bad that they had to have police officers guiding traffic for a couple of weeks.

I’m sure Buc-ee's would receive the exact same hype, if not even more. If that doesn’t give you reason enough to open a location here, then I don’t know what will.
