A man wanted for a parole violation was arrested in southwest Lubbock Thursday.

Lubbock police responded to the Saddlewood Apartment complex just after noon at 71st Street and Utica Avenue.

Twenty-eight-year-old Jarrod Davis reportedly barricaded himself in an apartment there. Law enforcement proceeded to surround that apartment and brought in negotiators to coax him out.

Shortly after, he surrendered to police without incident.

Davis was wanted for two outstanding parole violations related to an indictment he received back in December of 2017 for Domestic Assault.
