Man Steals Beer From Lubbock Convenience Store
Monday morning (Dec. 4), Lubbock police were called with reports of a robbery at a local convenience store.
KAMC News reports that police were called to Nick Stop Liquor, located in the 5800 block of Avenue P. When police arrived, the store owner said the suspect picked up two cases of beer and approached the counter to pay, but instead tried to run away. The store owner chased the suspect into the parking lot and got into an altercation. The suspect was able to get into his car and flee the scene.
The store owner described the suspect as a black male, in his mid to late thirties, and about 5'3''. Police stated that no weapons were used in the robbery and the suspect just stole beer.
