Here's the obituary for baby Kace:
Kace was born January 15, 2024, to Brent and Kynsey Ebeling Silvas in Lubbock, TX. A life so beautifully lived, though far too short, Kace Cole Silvas passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born with a light that shined so brightly, Kace brought endless joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His infectious smile and laughter could brighten even the darkest days, and he never met a stranger—only friends he hadn’t yet made.
Kace was full of life and curiosity, always on the move, and always exploring. He had just begun walking and was already eager to run, embracing the world with wide-eyed wonder. He was all boy—getting into everything, bumping his head on anything, and keeping his family on their toes.
Bath time was one of his favorite moments, and his love for his toothbrush was unmatched. Mealtime, however, was always an adventure—Kace, ever the cautious eater, made sure to inspect every bite with a careful sniff before deciding if it passed his test. And then, there was Elmo—his beloved little red friend who made diaper changes a little less of a wrestling match.
Above all, Kace adored his family. He wanted nothing more than to be held by his parents, to be near them, to do whatever they were doing. His love was pure, and his presence was a gift beyond measure.
Though his time here was brief, Kace left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who loved him. His laughter will echo in their memories, his light will shine in their hearts, and his love will remain forever.
Kace is deeply loved and will be missed beyond words.
Kace is survived by his parents, Brent and Kynsey Silvas; grandparents, Monte and Tamara Ebeling, Domingo and Melinda Silvas; great grandparents, Ricky Quisenberry and Franklin and Angie Ebeling; aunts and uncles, Kyndal Ebeling, Blake and Aristea Silvas; cousins, Kennedy and Karsyn Silvas.
