‘Gilmore Girls’ Confirms Netflix Revival, But Who’s Coming Back?
It was October we first learned that Netflix might roll the Gilmore Girls off their revival conveyor belt, and whatever took them so long, Rory and Lorelai are at last confirmed for four feature-length revival specials. Who else may drop by, you ask? We’ve got details, come and get ‘em.
Not all is confirmed as of yet, but the four 90-minute episodes tentatively titled Gilmore Girls: Seasons (each taking place in a different season, because duh) will return Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn and Keiko Agena. Most importantly to fans, original producers Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino will once again be at the helm, having left the final year in a dispute with Warner Bros.
Additionally, there’s little word on who, amid the incredible supporting cast and guest stars might make return appearances, whether Melissa McCarthy, Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia, Krysten Ritter, Seth MacFarlane, or of course, Jon Hamm.
The original series ran from 2000 to 2007, but what do we make of the return to Stars Hollow?
