We're sad to see that Obstacle Warrior Kids (11703 Indiana Avenue) is closing their doors at 6:30 p.m. Friday (July 17th) after just two years in Lubbock.

Obstacle Warrior Kids has been a fun climbing and sliding adventure for the kids, offering tons of ways to exercise in a safe, indoor arena. In addition to all their open play, they hosted birthday parties, field trips, taught classes and offered clinics and camps.

Here's what they shared on their Facebook page:

After much consideration we have decided to close our doors as of 6:30PM today.
Thank you to everyone who booked a birthday party, a field trip, took a class, came to our clinics and camps, Friday Night Frendzy - PNO, or just came in for an hour of open play!
Thank you to all of our loyal customers - we have enjoyed getting to know each one of you!
Thank you to our awesome staff, I couldn’t have asked for a better group of employees!
It has been a fun 2 years!
Thanks for all the memories!

Their website homepage displays the stringent COVID-19 guidelines they followed, though there's little doubt it was an added challenge. While they didn't mention COVID-19 in their closing note, it's unfortunate to lose another great local business during the ongoing pandemic and resulting economic crisis.

We wish the owners and staff at Obstacle Warrior Kids the best and are hoping they will all land on their feet. Thank you for a great two years in Lubbock.
