Person in ‘Scream’ Movie Mask Robs Lubbock Red Roof Inn [Video]

A person wearing the mask made famous by the Scream movie franchise robbed Red Roof Inn in Lubbock, Texas early Monday morning.

According to the Lubbock Police Department, the suspect entered the Red Roof Inn, located at 6624 Interstate 27, around 3 a.m. The suspect confronted the front desk clerk with a gun and demanded money. After receiving the money from the clerk, the suspect left the hotel's lobby and may have entered a getaway vehicle: a white minivan that was seen driving around the parking lot.

Both suspects - the robber and the getaway car driver - have yet to be apprehended.

Lubbock police are looking for someone who weighs between 170 and 190 pounds and is 5'7" to 5'9" in height. A physical description for the possible getaway car driver has not been released.
