Reward Increased for Information Concerning Missing Sul Ross State Student

The reward for information concerning a missing student from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, TX has been increased.  KMID-TV, in Midland, reports that a donation from HEB Supermarkets had doubled the size of the reward to $200,000.

Sul Ross student Zuzu Verk was last seen on October 12, 2016.

Verk’s boyfriend, Robert Fabian, has been named as suspect in her disappearance. Last week, investigators searched the Odessa Landfill.

The Brewster County Sheriff’s Department and Alpine Police Department have been leading the investigation with assistance from the Texas Rangers. Anyone with information concerning Zuzu Verk is asked to contact the Alpine Police Department at (432) 837-3486.
