It’s Judgment Day in the Final ‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 Trailer
If you thought the Demogorgon was scary, just wait until the Shadow Monster invades Hawkins. Watch Will’s nightmares come to life and get turned to Eleven, as the final Stranger Things 2 trailer recruits a bit of help to fight off the end of the world.
Our beloved Eleven is back in full monster-hunter mode for the final Season 2 trailer, which drops the Friday the 13th gag in favor of all-out Judgment Day. The new footage sees Eleven mostly on her own, though we do get closer looks at the season’s newcomers and the overall scale of the new threat.
Elsewhere of Stranger Things Season 2, we know the story will pick up in the fall of 1984, while creators Matt and Ross Duffer have teased a James Cameron sequel influence in crafting the second chapter. We’ll also learn more about the Upside Down, as teased in our exclusive concept art piece, while additional new cast includes Sadie Sink, Dacre Montgomery Brett Gelman, Goonies alum Sean Astin, Aliens baddie Paul Reiser and actress Linnea Berthelsen. The full list of directors has also been revealed, including Finding Dory helmer Andrew Stanton.
Watch the first trailer below, and stay tuned for more on the October 27 premiere.
