‘Stranger Things 2’ Will Turn Comic-Con 2017 Upside-Down
Stranger Things Season 2 has gone quiet since the Super Bowl teaser, but there’s an ominous red cloud on the horizon that may roll up as soon as Comic-Con 2017. See what the sequel series to Netflix’s breakout hit will bring to San Diego, including new footage and more!
Netflix released its full slate for this month’s Comic-Con 2017, including the Defenders panel in Hall H that caps off Marvel’s superhero coverage. In addition to the live-action Death Note and Will Smith’s Bright, Netflix will also spotlight Stranger Things 2 with a Saturday, July 22 panel at 3:00 P.M. in Hall H. What can we expect?
Netflix invites fans to join the cast and creators of the pop culture phenomenon Stranger Things, to view never-before-seen footage from the second season that picks up in the chaotic aftermath of Will Beyer’s return to a world that will never be the same.
The new footage is certainly tantalizing after news of a Halloween premiere, though no word yet on which cast are in attendance. Hopefully, we can expect the likes of Winona Ryder, future Hellboy David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin and all the rest, including Season 2 additions Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery. And lord help us, the Barb cosplay to expect.
In the meantime, stay tuned for the latest on Comic-Con 2017, and prepare for things to get even Stranger.
