Summer Splash-Sausage Wraps Tonight!

Join us at Buffalo Springs Lake for NINE straight days of food, fun, refreshments, fishing and camping during the 'Summer Splash' July 11th through the 20th!

While we were enjoying dinner on Monday night at the Summer Splash campsite, my neighbor Gwen White walked up to me and said she wanted to pitch in a pay for a night in honor of late Townsquare Media salesman Bob Shattuck.

Bob was specials to all of us and it's going to be fun celebrating him and sharing memories and stories about our late friend.

So, we're doing it tonight with smoked sausage wraps and tasty sides! We'll alos have live music from The Dudes!

What is the 'Summer Splash'?

We've teamed up with Coors Light, Enchanted Rock Vodka, Western Son Vodka, Coca-Cola, South Plains Electric Co-Op, Pollard Ford, United Supermarkets and MANY more to bring you a fun event for the whole family! We set up in Campsite A at the lake and basically do a nine day campout with our friends and listeners! Here's where you'll find us:

What Happens at the 'Summer Splash'?

We kick things off Friday with adult tastings from Reed Beverage and Coors Light as well as offerings from Coca-Cola to keep you cool. Everyone gathers around the campsite and we do what you normally do when you camp out with your family, play cornhole, fish, BBQ, eat and laugh!  Friday-Sunday is live music at the Texas Twister at the Marina, so we all head down there and enjoy the great food and music.

Monday-Thursday we set up the smokers and cook a different 'protein'; each night. We typically do briskets, pork butt, burgers and dogs from Monday to Wednesday and Thursday is 'special' since we do New Orleans-style chargrilled oysters right there in the campsite with the oysters provided by The Lone Star Oyster Bar AND a huge shrimp boil brought to you by HD Weaver Ditching! Each weekday, the residents of the lake bring sides potluck-style.
