Boston will hit the road again in a couple months for a new tour.

A dedicated analog guy, Tom Scholz should have been thrilled that Boston's most recent album -- 2013's 'Life Love and Hope' -- is arriving on vinyl.

Boston's classic 'More Than a Feeling' is being used in a new commercial for yogurt. The connection? Yoplait's latest flavor is Boston Cream Pie Lite. "At 90 calories, it is so good . . . when you want more than a feeling" touts the tagline as cartoon swirls of yogurt colorfully circle the screen.

Boston have undergone a lot of lineup changes over the course of the band's 37-year history, but their sound has always remained more or less the same, with very few concessions to current trends. As bandleader Tom Scholz revealed during a recent interview, that's at least partly because he doesn't even know what those current trends are.

The countdown to the next new batch of Boston recordings has begun in earnest, and although the Dec. 3 release date for the band's first new LP in 11 years might still feel pretty far away, at least we now have a record cover to look at while we wait.

Boston will reportedly release their first album since 2002 this fall. It's the sixth from the classic band, and the first to be released since singer Brad Delp committed suicide in 2007.

Tom Scholz of Boston has filed suit against Barry Goudreau, who played guitar of the band's first two albums. The guitarist-songwriter-inventor claims that Goudreau is using his former band's name in a manner that both violates a legally binding agreement they made.
