Lubbock's very own Jeff Allen will be on the new Discovery Channel show, 'The Brake Room,' on Monday, Oct. 8th.

Richard Rawlings' Garage restaurant is opening across from Jones AT&T Stadium.

This is incredible! A brinicle, or brine icicle, plunges toward the seabed from the Antarctic ice shelf above, freezing marine invertebrates in its path and killing everything it touches. This had never been filmed before.

Steve Jobs just passed away last week and the Discovery channel has already rolled out a 1-hour documentary on his life and his impact on the world. That's a pretty quick turnaround if you ask me!
